Pneumatically operated High-Speed Valve for non contact Micro Dot dispensing of high viscosity materials.

The Liquidyn Micro-Dispensing Valve P-Dot is designed for non-contact dispensing of adhesives, silicones, lacquers, oils & greases. Because of its extreme short triggering time (< 1ms), it can deliver extremely small quantities of high viscosity materials at distances ranging from 2 to 40 mm with pin point precision at a rate of up to 150 micro dots / second.

The amount of fluid that is possible to be dispensed, can be varied between 3 and 200 nano litres per triggering, creating droplets with dispense distance ranging from 2 - 10 mm from the part. Depending on the material viscosity, micro dot sizes from a minimum of 0.3 mm right up to 5 mm in diameter can be dispensed with extremely high repeatability with no splatter or cross contamination - ideal for SMT PCB Manufacture, small parts bonding & lubrication.

The Liquidyn Micro-Dispensing Valve P-Dot AN is an advanced version of the Valve P-Dot in order to allow high speed dispensing of anaerobic adhesives and corrosive materials.

By using specialist materials in the fluidic area of the valve with a specially designed sealing seat, it is now possible to dispense anaerobic (super glue) adhesives which are primarily used for rapid bonding of metals, magnets & ferrites products together, allowing safe production in industrial processes.

The most popular applications for the P-Dot AN is in the field of fastening of bolts, ball bearings and shafts with anaerobic (super glue) adhesives such as Loctite 648.

The micro dispensing valve P-Dot HM is designed for contactless dispensing of high viscosity hotmelt adhesives and other high viscosity, high melting point materials such  waxes etc....

Extremely short triggering intervals of < 1ms are possible to accurately apply the smallest amounts of materials over distances from 2 to 40mm. The volume of a single shot can be set from 10 to 200 nl. Therefore, depending on the material, dot sizes from a minimum of 350 m to a maximum of 2000 m can be achieved.

The separation of the fluidic section from the actuator as well as utilising a longer tappet, ensures thermal protection of the valve system and ensures a considerably safe operation.

Non-Contact Micro Dispensing Hotmelt Valve for accurate dispensing of hotmelt adhesives
Hotmelt micro dispensing valves are designed for the contactless dispensing of hotmelt adhesives. With this technology very small amounts of hotmelt adhesive can be dispensed very quickly, accurately and without contact.

The dispensing results are process reliable and reproducible. Like all LIQUIDYN products the hotmelt valves are characterised by a robust design, easy maintenance and a long service life.

With the LIQUIDYN hotmelt valves, fluid, viscous and pasty materials can be applied in dot-, bead- or line shape at a working temperature of up to 200C. Depending on the dispensing material used the definable dot diameters reach from 0.4 to 5 mm. The achievable dispensing volumes are between 3 nl and infinity and can be flexibly adjusted when the jet forming dispensing technology is used. The distance between the valve and the building part is generally between 2 to 10 mm. Even dispensing processes which are more demanding due to part or position tolerances can be carried out safely and easily with the contactless dispensing technology.

The electro-pneumatically operated valve triggers below 1 ms and closes automatically after each triggering signal. The valve is closed when idle (NC). The dispensing needle remains open as long as the valve is triggered. Afterwards the valve closes automatically.
